Bill, I had the same combination some time ago. Just move a little switch in the 1000D (I do not remember the switch number, but you will find it in the manual) for an external amp, connect relay and ALC cables and you are in business. My problem with the Henry 2K Classic X (export model) was the noisy fan. 73, Dave.
