Jim,

The list of possible solutions will most likely pile up like mulch after 
the city hauls off the leaves.

The best thing that I have ever seen or heard of is Kroil.  It is indeed 
a penetrating chemical compound.

Since it is trying to turn the "bearings", it is froze with corrosion.

It used to be "3 in 1 Penetrating oil".  Kroil surpasses what the old 3 
in 1 ever did!
