[Heathkit] Value of SB104

When you look at prices on eBay, be sure to only benchmark prices for sold
units (asking prices vary wildly). It is very easy to search the sold
prices for a SB-104 or A. Then, when you've looked through the last several
months of sales, you'll have a better idea.

There are three on the auction 'bay right now with various prices attached
between $100 to $300. An insanely low data point would be the pristine, well
built SB-104A (no power supply) that I purchased at our club auction for
$35.
Build quality was primo, it had CW filter and noise blanker, plus a
published RIT mod with the proper matching Heath knobs. It turned out to
have a bad mic amp IC, but otherwise worked as it should.

The biggest value killer would probably be the PA transistors. I understand
they are hard to find. Accessory jumpers need to be in place on the rear and
IIRC there is a switch that needs to be in the correct position also to get
output.
