Hi,
I was going to mention looking at actual *SOLD* prices and not look at
asking or pipe dreaming prices. Since Chris already mentioned that I
will just add a some reinforcement. Look at the "completed" auctions and
see what they actually sold for. Throw out the low and the high "flyers"
(if there are such) and you have some kind of basis for your own
expectations. If the asking price, starting price, or reserve was too
high then it will be completed but unsold. That will give you another clue.
"Flyers" are not about aviation. Those would be data points that lie
well out on the wings of a bell curve and should be dismissed. Don't
accept the low end flyers and don't expect to get the high end flyers.
