Hi Rick, and group,
I run a Mohawk receiver, Apache transmitter, and the Warrior
amplifer, the setup works fine as is, no mods, get heard well on
the modes available to the system. Repairing is one thing making
mods to it to make it sound like something different is still another.

If the units are run with the intended purpose in mind then you can
have good readable QSOs on the available bands, without modding
the thing beyond recognition, Remember "Rule No. 1", if it works
DON'T FIX IT!

Of course its all in what you want, in the final analysis! Good luck with
the changes, would like to hear it on the air someday, 40 meters is where
I hang-out, AM/CW/and occasionally SSB!
