[Heathkit] SB-401

No crystals anywhere is a problem.  Yes, the hetrodyning crystals  are not 
necessary if you use the transceive mode. However you do need (if I remember 
correctly) at least one crystal to get the 401 to generate a signal to 
hetrodyne with.  Perhaps (again the fuzzy memory) up to three.
I have a derelict 401 with the non-hetrodyning crystals installed.  I also 
have a crystal pack for stand alone operation but a couple of the crystals 
are no good.
If you want me to have a look at the 401 and report back, let me know.
