That may not be true constant impedence coax. Ive seen numerous aparatus use
similar as a simple shielded DC cable; for audio use or non critical RF
applications.
I use RG-178 or RG-179 (50 & 75 Ohms respectively) which is subminiature
Teflon cable with silver plated braid. Easier to solder to without damage
than RG-174 and often available free or close to free in large lengths at
flea markets, scrap dealers, etc
