[Heathkit] paint

Seasons Greetings to all:

                         This is only my second question to the list, so l'm
a necomer also.

My question is : l have the SB-301 receiver and the SB-401 transmitter, the
only difference is the color of green.

This, l know, sounds very minor, but l just want to know if Heathkit changed
their color of green some time in the SB series run ?

My 301 is a bit darker green than my 401 transmitter, l know they were not
painted, because afetr looking at them so often l would know, the paint is
definately professionally done at the factory.

My friend here in Ottawa, told me that Heath did change their shades of
green sometime during the run of the SB, series.

Just want to see what others have to say.
