Hi John
Welcome.
My AC-1 has the same black pointer knobs like the AT-1 transmitter.
Never seen another AC-1 live. They must be a rare item.

Subject: [Heathkit] Heathkit Knobs-AC-1 Antenna Coupler
GA and Season's Greetings to one and all. I am a newcomer to the List so
please accept my question in that light.
My question has to do with the style of knob found on the AC-1. I have seen
pix of the AC-1 with black, pointer-type knobs and also with the style of
small knob normally found on the DX-40. Am I right in assuming that Heath
used both styles of knob during the production run of the AC-1 period and,
if so, which style came first?
I also wonder if anyone has ever seen a stock AC-1 with the DX-40 type knobs
with the white indicator being of the arrowhead shape as opposed to a
straight white line?
I appreciate that this is taking detail to the extreme, but any answer(s)
that you can give would be very much appreciated.
73,
John VE3CSJ Ottawa
