[Heathkit] Shipping problems

You haven't read the fine print. The shipper is not responsible for 
anything even if you have the item insured. It is only out of their 
generosity that you can collect anything in the case that they clearly 
damaged it (like a forklift tine through the middle of the carton). With 
UPS, the receiver has no way to claim anything as he has no contractual 
relationship with UPS for the item and it is entirely up to the shipper 
to resolve the claim with UPS. As the shipper is paid and happy what is 
in it for him to process a claim.

It's a rough life out there, and then you die...
