[Heathkit] SHIPPING DAMAGE

I have never failed to collect a reasonable amount of money from UPS. 
The ALWAYS deny the claim but I have always been able to convince them 
of the error of their ways with a single phone call. What bothere me is 
that for a total claim (for the full amount) they keep the remains. I 
wonder what they do with them and how do I get on that list??
