Remember that the 2 KW rating is INPUT and not output
power. What you are now getting as output power is
about "average" for the linear running about 2 KW
input. Depending on the condition of the tubes,
driving power, etc., you might, or might not, get too
much more output power.
Of course, operating the unit from 240 volts instead
of 120 volts will probably increase the output power
somewhat due to the fact that the voltage drop from
the "IR" of the power lines will be less.
I have never used the Harbach kits, so I cannot
comment directly on how much good they do. However,
there are quite a number of people out there who have
made the modifications and are happy. There are also
many people out there who are running unmodified
linears and who are just as happy!

I intend to use and would like some opinons on the
Harbach kits.
Currently I am using the amp on 110v and have a max
output of about 1kw on 40m and 600w on 10m. It seems
to work well but says it is a 2kw amp? I do not plan
to operate over 1.5kw but would like to have the amp
at it's full potential.
