[Heathkit] 2 Mod or not 2 Mod <> SB220

I have a SB220 that my father built. I intend to use and would like
some opinons on the Harbach kits. I think I would like to install the
new capacator block, the rectifier board, the parasitic suppressor
kit, the soft key module, and replace the noisey fan.

Currently I am using the amp on 110v and have a max output of about
1kw on 40m and 600w on 10m. It seems to work well but says it is a 2kw
amp? I do not plan to operate over 1.5kw but would like to have the
amp at it's full potential.

open to sugestions.
