I just picked up a DX-100 from eBay, and it's a borderline basket case. No fuses in the line cord anywhere, and lots of smoke marks on the chassis. Lousy soldering job throughout too. No, I'm not going to plug it in until I check it out.(The seller wasn't a ham and did not represent it as working so I'm not upset, it's just a chance I knew I was taking).
Anyway, I haven't started into it yet, but I may decide to part it out and start over with a fresh one. If so I was wondering if there's any interest in some of it. Right now it's complete, so if you need something (transformers, tubes, VFO, etc) let me know and I'll start a list, first come first serve. Front panel has holes/mods. Case is OK but dirty. Some rust spots on transmformers/chassis. I can test the tubes on my TC-1.
