HI remove the high voltage leads from each rectifier socket. then
power it up to see if you are still getting high input current, if so -
bad power tx. If it is ok then -- the black socket material does arc
and carbonize, common in the 5R4 GY sockets in some collins gear. the fix
is to replace the sockets with ceramic ones or the yellow mica filed
types.
