I recently used mine (after years in storage) to check for parasitic
resonances in the plate circuit of an L4B in the 30-150 MHz range. I
got two pronounced dips, and one was very deep IIRC. Sorry I can't
quote exact meter units, but it did seem to work fine. Coupling did
seem to be somewhat critical, but I attributed this to the layout of
the L4B anode circuit rather than the DIP meter. One thing to check is
the plugs on the coils and the jack on the meter; I cleaned all mine up
and hit them with some Deoxit before I fired up the meter.
