[HCRA] January Happenings

Hey gang,

First off, your new copy of Zero Beat is electronically available on the
web. Simply click on: http://www.hcra.org/zerobeat/jan08.pdf and see what
Larry and his staff have put together for you this month. It is an issue
chock full of information.

Second, this coming Friday brings the return of Donna Halper to our meeting.
Donna is a 'radio historian' and will be coming to Feeding Hills once again
on January 4th. The focus this time will be "Springfield area AM radio in
the baby boomer era". Do you remember WSPR? Be sure to come early, bring a
friend and some questions and get ready for an entertaining evening.

Third I would like to thank all who participated with HCRA in December's
ARRL 10 Meter contest. We had a great showing and a fantastic score! Look
for a short article in next month's Zero Beat but in the meantime take a
