[HBR] Tried Max's circuit?

Hello All,

 

Somewhere around ten people from the HBR list requested a copy of Max
Robinson's I.F transformer work-around circuit. It's been several weeks now,
and I'm wondering if anyone has had a chance to try it out. 

 

Max is the moderator of the Yahoo group funwithtubes, and I've asked him to
come up with a simple Frank Jones type Super Gainer regenerative superhet
circuit. He was asking if anyone had tried the circuit. The Super Gainer
uses one I.F. tansformer, and would be relatively easy to build as a test
bed. I'm certainly open to other suggestions.
