[HBR] Tried Max's circuit?

Is it too late to request a copy of Max's IF transformer work around  
circuit?  I must have missed the cue in the first post of the  thread.

circuit. He was asking if anyone had tried the  circuit. The Super Gainer
uses one I.F. tansformer, and would be relatively  easy to build as a test
bed. I'm certainly open to other  suggestions.
