[HBR] HBR 16 Underside Layout?

Niel,

Just an FYI .. and you probably know this already. 
But, in many of may radios
that I had home-brewed, I took elaborate
pains to route the cloth covered wiring nice and neat
and at
right angles, etc.

I think I recall Ted Crosby strongly
advising against any impulse to do so.  Direct
wiring, although
very ugly, offers the best performance as I understand it.  So, I
would try to "neaten-up" too much :-)

What I did to
place componets was to examine some photo's of previously built
units
and compromised on where components (such as chokes) would fit.

ex:  I think my rectifiers are pretty well hidden under filter caps
and atleast one choke is
mounted on a side-wall.
