> Check with ASPCA for a source of house trained rodents <evil grin>.

This is dangerous advice these days. If the ASPCA or any other
national animal organization finds out you've been allowing rodents to
live in your household without being at least paper trained, you could
find all your mice seized, be required to put up a bond for their
care, and be charged with animal cruelty.

You know those news stories with "animals living in deplorable
conditions" without any specifics that clearly show abuse? That's
what I'm talking about.

No, it couldn't happen now with non-pet mice so the above is pretty
much just a tasteless joke. There was, however, a Brooklyn teenager
who lost her temper and killed a hamster a few days ago and has now
been charged with a felony.

You wonder why I never get much done on the radios anymore? Fighting
the 'animal rights' movement, that's why. Full time job, paying just
as well as the usual radio hobby. Only thing missing is the fun.

PLEASE, never give money to any national animal organization: HSUS,
the ASPCA, PETA ... these days they are all spending most of that
money to oppose animal ownership and use. Instead, check out your
local animal shelter and if you like what you find, give to them --
the money will actually help some animals rather than coming back at
us in the pocket of a lobbyist or 'bought' state governor.

> Good luck with your project.

YES! Sigh ...
