Ok Dan,

These most common tubes are easier than the others, but besides the extra 
hole, they have higher plate current, generate more heat and besides having 
high prices because of those guys who pay small fortunes for oxygenated 
cables, connections of solid gold or some other unobtanium parts for their 
HiFi rigs... HI
Just as you, I also have several tubes and sometimes I am afraid to uso some 
because of a future replacement.
As my project is also to be fun, so I'll look solutions that do not involve 
change in the chassis, but only one socket or pin connections.
Still, very grateful for the reminder.
