Okay... I'll throw my two cents in - I have a 1964-build HBR-11..... it's as 
sensitive (and better) as anything I own that's "modern"...it delivers 
READABLE cw at .045uv and is just plain fun.  The 11 isn't that hard to 
build, and provides almost all the features of the "bigger" versions.  If I 
could have changed anything, I would have put it in a bigger cabinet - makes 
changing the coils easier.
