[HBR] Need source...plastic dial material

How about cannibalizing a junker Hallicrafters S-38E for its slide rule dial?

Tons of those at hamfests for $2-$10. Not exactly an endangered radio so I personally wouldn't feel bad about using a hacked out one for the HBR cause.

For those electronic vegans out there, I'm sure the dial mechanism on the S-38E could be easily reproduced by a home brewer competent enough to build an HBR.

Just my thoughts so your mileage may vary...batteries not included...some assembly is required...

Bob
