I did not have that problem.... but it was a couple of years ago and did 
three succesfully. just stuck my 25 watts soldering iron at each end and 
gently pushed the coils toward the ends. It took a few seconds and the 
forms were NOT deformed.

I have eight that I might use on a second HBR but if I change my mind, 
I'll give a chance to the group first and if there is no interest, will 
offer them on the auction place.
