Excellent advice!

I should have asked the
group before I tried moving the coil!

(Actually, your method
should be posted somewhere under hints & kinks :-)

Out of
fear of destroying any more IF Xformers, I left the coils where the are
and had started wiring yesterday.

Do you suppose the over
coupling will be a problem?
