Thank you very much Kees and Bill.

Like I said, the biggest problem here is to find all the parts, mainly a
adequate variable capacitor, trimmers and the dial.
Given this difficulty, I opted for something less complex, because my
intention is only one receiver for 40 and 80 meters, AM / SSB.
Hence, after searching the internet enough, just getting an idea of what
would be good for me. A mix of the HB-65, 2x4+ superhet and HBR-13C, more
some features like S-meter, two IF channels (1700 and 455KHz), product
detector with 6BN6 (thanks Walter - KJ4KV) and infinite impedance AM
detector with half 12AT7. The first IF amp is 6EH7 and 2nd is 6AM8 or 6HJ8
(the diode is for agc). A 6U8/6KE8/6KZ8 in the converter and 6C4 in the VFO.
Audio output via 6CX8.
A simple front end with 6JH8 and no RF amplifier. The choice of tubes is due
the fact I have them on hand... :-)
I am aware of any suggestion. My project is not definitive.
With this approach, the more difficult items will be the small size 1700KHz
IF tranformers.
I hope that makes sense to you.

Again thanks for the warm welcome.

73, Carlos - PY4QE
