Hello gentlemen,

I'm Carlos Alberto, PY4QE of Brazil and recently I joined the group.
I believe this is the best place to obtain information that will help realize the old dream of assembling a tube receiver.
In the last days I'm searching the entire archives, looking for opinions, tips and informations, before do my first post. This is a very helpful and friendly forum.
Here in PY land we don't have access to those military and ham rigs, to collect parts like dials, IF transformers, filters, and so on.
Then a bit more improvisation is necessary, but the dream remains going step by step.
I hope everyone can help find sources of some parts more difficult. 
Well, that's enough for now. 
Soon I'll describe my project and see what you think.
