At Saturdays get together, the group was concerned that the 4state group
was in need of some assistance with the up coming 2010 OzarkCon event.
Our group formally took over the Friday Night build as of 2009 and will
continue to do so for as long as we are needed.  Several folks expressed
concern about some e-mail traffic on the reflectors indicating 4State
may need more help.  I said I would contact Joe Porter and tell him that
we are willing to help in what ever way we can from this far away.

I have done that and am awaiting an answer to see what Joe will think we
can do to help.

I also informed him that (at least as it stands now that the project for
2010 will most likely be a fancy, but easy to build Field Strength
meter. 

Those Present this Saturday were tasked to find what they thought was a
good design and to either post a link to this e-mail group or bring
information to the next get together. (that would be October 10th).  

The discussion basically was "everyone builds another version of a DC
receiver or a Keyer" (no offence Dale :-) ) and we should stick with the
"let's build something useful".
