[HBQRP] Ubuntu anyone?

Hi Group,

I know that there are several people in the group that have had experiance 
with Linux, and I was wondering if any of you would be able to give me
a few pointers on Ubuntu Linux.

I couldn't help myself for the price, and wound up with a Dell Netbook with Ubuntu version 8.xx.  Haven't had much time to mess with it although I did get it to work with the internet and installed Opera for Linux via wired internet. I need to get the wireless figured out and running next.

I'll bring it along to the meeting if anyone could offer a few pointers on
how to get around in the software and move files here and there, and where to look for some files.
 
(Yes, I know.. I should <Read The Fine Manual> That will be soon.. )
