[Hammarlund] HQ 170 S Meter Discoloration

Just noodling here...

Take a high quality picture of the S Meter scale (disassembled).
Touch it up in Photoshop or a free equivalent (http://sixrevisions.com/graphics-design/10-excellent-open-source-and-free-alternatives-to-photoshop/)
Print it out on transparency 'paper' or regular paper on a high quality printer.
Find a suitable piece of plastic or other backing.
3M Spray glue the transparency or paper to the backing.

All sorts of things to go wrong with the above plan but who knows.
