[Hammarlund] Part # of Hammond chokes /recapping questions for SP-600

Has anyone tried de-potting one?  (Then add insulation.)

Roger and others,

This leaky choke problem was addressed in a Hollow State News article  
quite some time ago. Unfortunately, the "fix" they suggested was to  
insulate the case from the chassis and continue to use the defective  
choke

DO  NOT DO THIS.
