You lose when his official looking money order or cheque turns out to be

The advice others have given you is probably what you should do, but if 
you want to have some fun, spent a couple of bucks and have a 60 pound 
bag of concrete all packaged up in an SP-600 sized box and ready for his 
carrier to pick up ;-)

xxx at yahoo.co.uk is a telltale - scammers always use free web-based email 
accounts (they have dozens or hundreds of 'em) and may also use proxy 
servers to make it impossible for you to trace their IP.   If it sounds 
too good to be true, it probably is!
