[Hammarlund] Cleaning late model Hammarlund dials

hi John,
    I've done a few 170's & 180's, and don't think they were particularly
prone to washing off. But I've learned to be very careful with anything
like that, and if a light dry paintbrush won't clean it off I'll try a rag
or swab with just water, but very carefully. If the dirt's not softened
then maybe a little more agressive.
There's no problem with the SP-600's, good paint and "reverse engraved"
(etched?) markings.
73,
Al, W8UT
(I still need to hunt down that variable for you, found some that're too
small this wkend.)
