[Hammarlund] Yaesu Rotor Problem

It isn't that I don't want to climb, but that I suffer
from rhuematoid arthritis and and it has become
difficult for me to climb. I used to climb all the
time. I am hoping for a "good day" or two so that I
can get up the tower. Fortunately, I don't have to go
all the way to the top to get to the rotor.

Since the tower is "house bracketed" as well as guyed
the rotor is only about 35 feet above the roof.

Keep your fingers crossed!

If the entire rotor had to be replaced I think that I
would "live" with the problem for a while.

I a\seem to remember reading that you were loathe to
climb...I can understand. However, a connector
clean-up or even a cable replacement beats the
alternative of replacing the whole damn rotor. This
message was meant to paint the glass as 1/2
full....hope I succeeded.
