[Hammarlund] Yaesu Rotor Problem

After I wrote you, I started thinking about that 35 year old cable. Hope you
do get a "good day" to climb, but I'm putting my money on that old cable
being really crappy. One of the cables (some allegedly high quality neoprene
coated thing) which controls the limit switches on my motoroized tower is
only about 7 years old and the outside jacket is cracked and the inner leads
are also cracked and frayed, and the twisted copper wire shows signs of
corrosion and moisture. So much for it being high quality cable!

Good luck.
