[Hammarlund] An Observation on labels

Still trying to find time to finish up my HQ-145 before the spring chores start. After spending a lot of time tracing wires to identify the transformers ( T1,2...L5,6 etc) it occured to me that all I had to do was look at the part number on the parts list and find the matching number on the can..... right?..... absolutely ...BUT, when the folks at Hammarlund put the cans on the coils they placed most of the part numbers towards the adjacent transformer.... EEERRR!  trying to read 38818-1 on the side of a can with a 1/4 inch clearence..... 


Ok. I'll settle down...Just had to vent a little... I was able to get them all figured out with the help of a small LED flashlight that has a 90­° light fiber optic bend on the end.... Now back to the bench!
