Hi again Julian -
I was a bit baffled by that 'bus line' term when I first saw it. My IF section was way off too so I guess it's not uncommon.
Sorry to hear about the other trouble below deck but it sounds like you have things under control.
Someday perhaps you can tell me about sweep generators.
I have a 'sweeper' on the way but right now I'm using a sig gen and things are working out well so far.
Are you using a sweep gen to do this or just the sig gen part of the Tek?
Guess you'll have to crack the red paint seals on the trimmers to do the RF bits. I'd be interested to hear how out of alignment yours are. I'll be doing the RF section myself this weekend.
Then it's on to the 2M/6M converter. Nuvistors!!!
