Thanks Mike ... Yes, I found that strip. The 110 had been extensively worked
on underneath, and there was a short inside the T2 IF can, which I repaired.
Once done, using a Tek FG504 sweep/signal generator I was able to peak the
IF very nicely ... everything was WAY off alignment. Now the IF looks very
good, and I will move onto the RF tuning.

I had to replace the PSU choke, which had fried due to the short in the IF
can I suspect.
