Please join us on Saturday January 22nd for the HCI 40 meter Net. It will
commence with the pre-Net at 12:30 PM EST, (1730 UTC). The Net proper will begin
at 1:00 PM EST, (1800 UTC)

The frequency will be 7.280 MHZ lsb +/- for key clicks, mike splatter and
snowflakes the size of zits on a adolescent Dinosaur's nose slamming into the
Ham shack roof like an attack by killer citrus trees hurling their fruit! Winter
weather will attempt to bury our state beneath a beautiful blanket of pure white
snow, hiding the land fills, acid rain corrosion and junkyards full of cars that
would have made Henry Ford stop eating anything containing rice! Actually he had
a yen for midwest rumps (as in Black Angus rump roasts), Idaho Bakers (as in
potato, not those dudes making doughnut holes) and an assembly line that fed his
grand kids strained beets so he did not have to spend Sunday afternoons looking
like Bozo The Clown!

So fire up that blower of snow. Heat up that melter of ice. Warm up that coffee
as cold as a Upper Peninsula well digger's butttocks. Light up those tubes in
that vintage Hallicrafters,or other flavor of vintage vacuum tube gear, and join
us for however long we stay on the air during this Winter weather assault by
Jack Frost and the biggest blow hard north of the Mason jar Dixon cup line, the
old North Wind. I hope to hear you then. With the Sun burping gas, the wind
howling like a cat with its tail caught in a self-feeding paper shredder and my
roof shaking like some old time Rock And Roll singers with low calcium and
wobbling hips!

Be there! Resscue me, or at least save the vintage gear, as snow nor sleet nor
hail or pickled pig's feet shall stop the HCI Net from firing a shot that is
still heard around the world.
