[Hammarlund] RF generator for HQ-180

I just bought a Heathkit SG-9 signal generator for $6 at a ham fest for just 
the same VLF purpose.
I was able to pad the low range (Band A) down to 50 kHz and re-calibrate the 
scale with a digital freq. counter.
Works well and quite stable for a small investment.
Now to figure out how to make it have a sweep generator function :-)

Does anyone know of a brand or model of RF generator that goes low enough to 
align an HQ-180 that doesn't cost an arm and a leg? It needs to go down to 
60 kHz and everyone I've seen on ebay only goes down to 100 kHz, thanks,
