In as much as I LOVE the looks & features of the upscale Hammarlund
receivers, their excessive drift was just more than I could bear...

After years of drooling over these good looking rigs, I finally bought a
near-primo example of an original HQ-170---WITH matching speaker & original
manual!

Alas, the doggone thing drifted so much, it near drove me crazy. I guess
it's an "...acquired taste", or something like that. Anyway, I sold
everything, & bought yet MORE BA stuff from the proceeds...
