Hi Eddie et al,
Well, that's why they went to the "A's." That did help most of them,
at least. I had an HQ-180A over a yr ago, that I thought was terribly
drifty. I finally realized that I was turning the whole thing off with a
pwr strip, I was using it in my shop, not in the regular shack.
I have converted 2 HQ-170's to "A's", that helped them a lot, but
you're right, they were not good. I ran some curves on them each way,
can't find that now.
Dan sent me a note that he does have his on pwr always, so it should
be better.
