Check to make sure that there is not any dust, etc.,
that is "clinging" to the moving coil. You can use an
"ear" syringe, etc., to blow in some air to loosen the
debris. Also, put a small drop of lubricant on both
of the pivot points. Usually, you have to loosen the
pivot points slightly if the movement is "dragging".

opened the meter up and looked it over and even
