[Hammarlund] help for sticking meter...

hi,
I have a 145-x with a nice meter that seems to work just fine but
occasionally (but not always) sticks on its way back down toward the 0
(resting) position. Tapping it will usually bring it on down to 0. I have
opened the meter up and looked it over and even carefully adjusted the
pivot screws to slightly tighten up the axis. That didn't seem to make
much difference one way or the other. When I gently move the needle
pointer manually with the meter case open, it mostly looks great but then
sticks maybe once in several times when doing this manually or when the
pointer is moved when in the radio. Sometimes it seems like position may
make a difference but can't tell consistently.  It zeros OK with the
adjust screw.  It just looks so good I don't know what else to try. I'd
like to see something to tweak or fix but I don't. Any help would be
greatly appreciated.
