Thanks for the warm welcome Mike. :-) My 129X has a added 100 kc/ 1000 kc
calibrator and the 6K8 converter tube has been changed to a miniature 9 pin
6X8. There is also a three position panel switch that was added in the
bottom left hand corner to turn the calibrator on and a switch between the
100 or 1000 kc postion, this looks like it was professionaly done....looks
like it came from the factory that way. :-)
Can you or someone else tell me the added benefits that a HQ 180 would give
me. Is it 'noticeably' that much better than the 129X. Thanks for any
responses.
