[Hammarlund] HQ-129X Value Question

Probably worth that in parts if the cabinet is in good shape and the original
knobs, escutcheon, etc are original and intact. Sounds like a real hackjob, but
worth saving as a parts donor for other sets. Ron Hankins had replacement panels
for a while, not surre if he still offers them. I need one myself.

I'd not likely pay that much myself, so it's more a judgement call. If I needed
a cabinet or other parts, I might very well. Problem is, you can usually find
them in reasonably good shape for $75-$125, even at auction. Nice, clean models
bring considerably more. It wasn't a high-end set to start with, though.
