A little background: YAESU publishes and supports (sorta) the VFO
commands for the FT-8x7 radios that MacLoggerDX uses. YAESU does not
publish or support the memory access commands used by
MacMemoriesManager and in fact suggests that you use their licensed
software from RT Systems:
http://www.rtsystemsinc.com/index.cfm
- which of course only runs on a PC. I thought that over time with
more and more Hams using Macs that they would see the light especially
when you consider how much we pay for these radios - and either
publish the commands or make their software available for the Mac -
but sadly they have not.
You could try putting pressure on YAESU but I don't think they care. I
tried for years but their US marketing department head in New York
told me that the bosses in Japan don't think the Mac is a big enough
market to address.
