How big is your TM drive? It should be at least twice the total
capacity of your main HD. If your HD is close to full, the TM drive
should be at least four times the size. There is no such thing as too
big a backup drive. :)
If you are backing up your laptop on the daily (hourly) schedule,
there is no reason to archive deleted files. TM has already done that
for you. That's the purpose of the TM program.
