I've used several brands of monitors at work on a variety of Mac Books and
Mac Book Pros. Samsung seem good value for the money.
Remember that you have to run the monitor at the highest resolution it
supports if you want a nice sharp image. Be careful not to buy a monitor
with a higher resolution than your laptop will support or things will look
fuzzy.
